Calgary International Youth Boys wins Gold at Provincial Championships

The Calgary International Youth Boys 4 X 100m relay team won the gold medal at the Alberta Championships held at Fowler Field in St Albert on June 23, clocked in at a lowest time in CANADA this year of 44.63. Scott ran 3rd after Ryan Baker, and Landon Roett, handing the baton to Matt Record for the final run in..

Scott and Matt have the distinction of being members (running 3rd and anchor) of the Alberta Provincial High School (ASAA), and Alberta Track & Field - Provincial Champion Gold medal teams in 2012.

Bulldogs Midget Football team win the 2012 Div 2 Calgary City Championships

Winning 33-22 in the Div 2 City Finals on Thursday May 29, at Shouldice Park in Calgary Alberta. Perhaps Scott's last year of "club" football, before concentrating on track & field, and playing Football for Centennial High School in 2012 season

Scott runs 3rd leg in Gold medal 4X100m at the Provincial ASAA Championships at Foote Filed Edmonton

2012 Provincial ASAA Gold Medal Champions in the 4 X 100 meter relay (Junior - Grade 10) in order, Andrew Britton, Isaiah McLellan, Scott MacKay, and Matt Record - running the track in 45.33

Scott takes bronze in the Provincial ASAA Track & Field Championships

Scott set another new PB in the junior 400m (52.70) at the Alberta Provincial ASAA Championships at Foote Field in Edmonton on June 3, 2012 , taking the bronze medal.

New PB in 800M at Alberta Spring Challenge

After not competing for more than a year due to repetitive foot injuries, Scott running in the Youth Division, sets a new PB in the 800m (by over 6 seconds) at 2:01 at Foothills Track in Calgary, AB.

Scott rejoins Calgary Bulldogs Football Club for the 2012 Midget season

Scott joins the Callgary Bulldogs midget team under John Dewitt & Co. as a starting slot / wide out.

Scott joins elite Calgary International Track Club

Scott joins John Cannon's Calgary International Track Club in May 2012 as a 400m/800m athlete. Goal for 2012 is to break 2:00 flat in the 800m.

Scott runs 10km at Saskatchewan Marathon aged 12 yrs

Scott ran underage with his cousin Reed, in Saskatoon Spring 2008, he entered underage as a 12 year old, and finished 13th in his age group (under 19) and 40th overall out of over 677 entries. His cousin Reid, a 14 year old finished 10th in same age group, and 30th over all. Couple of future track stars.
